The Black Creatives of Pitt County is a group of local artists who are focused on various aspects in the creativity spectrum. The talent ranges from performing arts to literary arts, and everything in between. The goal of the Black Creatives of Pitt Country is to create a safe space for local Black Artists to express themselves creatively and network.

There are 45 members in the Black Creatives of Pitt County group and they are always welcoming new creatives. Each member brings a diverse perspective to the group, including the artists who created the First Street Mural in uptown Greenville that says, "unite against racism."
